SEEING IS BELIEVING
Through creative application of digital photography technique, the world is represented as a phantasmagoria. Inspired by W. S. Burroughs’ cut-up technique, this work is an invitation to break through familiar thought patterns and to fully engage with the newly emerging stories. The series consists of photos that show the fragmented perception of visual impressions. It refers to random products that arise from unpredictable parameters such as movement in time-space.
Durch die kreative Anwendung einer Technik der digitalen Fotografie, wird die Welt als Phantasmagorie wiedergegeben. Inspiriert von W. S. Burroughs ‘Cutup’Technik ist diese Arbeit eine Einladung, gewohnte Denkmuster zu durchbrechen und sich ganz auf die neu entstehenden Geschichten einzulassen. Die Serie besteht aus Fotos, die die fragmentarische Wahrnehmung visueller Eindrücke zeigen. Dabei handelt es sich um Zufallsprodukte, die durch nicht vorhersehbare Parameter wie der Bewegung im Zeit-Raum entstehen.
